KARACHI - A new leaf in the Pakistan cricket was added here on Sunday when country’s premier golfing facility, the Arabian Sea Country Club formally unveiled at its premises the multi-million-rupee cricket stadium designed in truly traditional English architectural style in the presence of elite of the city.

Recently scion of the House of well-known Ahmed Jaffer family readily agreed to a proposal put forth by the CEO of the ASCC former CEO of the PCB Arif Ali Khan Abbasi to construct a cricket pavilion. Jaffer Brothers provided major part of the expenses of construction.
The Former city nazim who changed the face of the metropolis in four years of his tenure accepted an invitation from the ASCC CEO Arif Ali Khan Abbasi to preside over the inauguration of the cricket pavilion. The business, cricket and media elite of the city have also accepted the invitation to attend formal opening of the new facility, a replica of a cricket pavilion steeped in English architecture, painted in light green with steep roof made of tiles and a weather cock placed at the top of the building.
